We were recently contacted by a gent in Las Vegas, regarding a need to ID a man found deceased with no ID.
He had been there for over 2 months, before being found by a hiker.
The only thing he had with him for a clue, was a DLG 11 ballcap, which I knew came from our store.
After investigating several possible names, I found a record of a hat mailing in Sept. 2020, to Las Vegas.
The name checked out, and the LV coroner was able to ID the man.
Now, we need any other info for Roger Rothhaar, our DLG 11 shipmate.
If anyone has any memory of him, dates aboard, rate, division, etc, please email me at:
The family somehow never bothered to file a missing person report all that time. We do not know why.

A GREAT time was had by all in attendance.
Even though the 14,100 feet elevation on Pike's Peak caused some "distress"!
Quite a few spent most of the one hour visit in the restrooms,
with altitude sickness.
Above the clouds.
Here are several photos from our tours, and cog train ride to the top of Pike's Peak.
